Find how-to step by step operation instructions and troubleshooting below. Please refer to the How-to Guide for important safety instructions.

How to Prepare the Pressure Washer and Area

Be sure and read Safety and Operating Instructions in How-To Guide above, printed brochure or on back of machine before using.

Remove all objects from cleaning area that can be tripped over. Ensure all doors/windows are closed tightly. Only use clean cold water with the machine. Garden hose must be at least 1/2 inch in diameter to ensure proper water supply.

To prepare the Pressure Washer:

  1. Confirm machine is turned OFF. Pull out cord, plug into electrical outlet. DO NOT USE EXTENSION CORD.
  2. Attach your water hose to the front of the machine.
  3. Connect the Wand and Trigger Handle by inserting together and hand tighten.
  4. Pull out High Pressure Hose. Connect assembled Wand and Trigger Handle to High Pressure Hose and hand tighten until the two parts are fully secured.
  5. Turn on water at source, depress Trigger for 30 seconds to purge.

How to Use the Pro Pressure Washer

Cleaning without Detergent

  1. Adjust Universal Nozzle
Turn the body of nozzle counter-clockwise towards the negative (-) position for a tight spray pattern. Turn body towards the positive (+) position for a wide spray pattern. When testing spray nozzle adjustment, keep 4 feet from surfaces. Always engage Trigger Lock on handle and turn machine OFF before adjusting nozzle.
  2. Turn Machine On (green button)
Machine will build up pressure for a few seconds and the machine will stop once desired water pressure is achieved. Holding Wand and Trigger Handle with both hands, squeeze spray gun trigger until there is a steady stream of water. Keep clear of nozzle. Never direct high pressure spray at any person, animal or self.

Cleaning With Detergent

Only use cleaning detergents designed for pressure washers. For best results, use Rug Doctor® Outdoor Cleaner. Always spray detergent on dry surface. Test in a small, hidden area before use.

  1. Mix Cleaning Detergent
Mix cleaning detergent per the detergent label instructions. Follow detergent label instructions for use. Remove the detergent tank cap, fill tank with detergent solution and replace the cap.
  2. Apply Cleaning Detergent
To apply detergents, you must operate at low pressure setting. Push universal nozzle tip out to the “SOAP” position. Machine will not apply detergent in the “CLEAN” position. Always engage Trigger Lock on handle and turn machine OFF before adjusting nozzle.
  3. Turn Machine On (green button)
Depress trigger to operate unit. The liquid detergent will automatically mix with water, and be discharged through the nozzle. Apply detergent to a DRY work surface, from bottom to top. Allow detergent to remain on the surface for a short time before rinsing. Do not allow detergent to dry on surface. To rinse with clean water, pull universal nozzle back into the “CLEAN” position. On a vertical surface, rinse from the bottom up, then rinse from the top down to avoid streaking. Hold nozzle at a safe distance from the cleaning surface.

  1. Turn Water Source Off
Insure pressure washer is OFF & squeeze spray gun Trigger to release high pressure water. Disconnect spray Wand from
    Trigger Handle.

Remove surface cleaner Lance from clips. Pull back Coupler and insert Lance into Surface Cleaner until you hear “click” then release Coupler.
  3. Connect Wand and Surface Cleaner
